Courses for children and teenagers

We introduce the little ones to the equestrian world through a play-educational method, under the guidance of a 1st-level FISE certified instructor (show jumping and dressage) and ASC. The lessons focus on handling the pony or horse from the ground and in the saddle, using play as a tool to develop balance and confidence. (3-8 years)

Adult lessons
Show Jumping and Dressage

Structured courses for every level, from beginner to advanced rider, taught by a qualified FISE 1st level and ASC instructor. We focus on classical English riding technique, nurturing sensitivity and deep communication between horse and rider.

Competitive training

For those who aspire to compete, we offer advanced training programs coordinated by our FISE Level 1 and ASC certified instructor. The focus is on perfecting the horse and rider partnership to successfully tackle national competitive circuits.

Strolling through the hills of Siena

Explore Sinalunga like you've never seen it before. Our horses, trained for equestrian tourism, will accompany you along exclusive trails.

Vineyard Trekking
(1 hour)

A relaxing experience among the rows of Sangiovese vines and ancient olive groves of our estate. Ideal for families with children (aged 3 and up), couples, and large groups looking for a safe and charming first introduction to Tuscan nature.

The Valdichiana Trail
(2-3 hours)

For those wishing to go further, this route winds towards the hills of Sinalunga, offering unforgettable panoramic views of the valley. Perfect for small groups looking for a balance between adventure and relaxation.

Walk with Tasting at the Farm
(4 hours)

Combine the passion for horseback riding with local flavors. This trek includes a refreshing stop at a local farm for a tasting of typical zero-mile products.

Gourmet experience: excursion with lunch
(6 hours)

Reserved for experienced riders (mastery of all three gaits), this full day in the saddle represents the pinnacle of Villa Il Poggio's tourism offerings. A deep journey into the Sienese landscape that culminates in a traditional lunch at a typical restaurant.

Sunset ride: emotions at sunset

The club's most exclusive activity. A walk enveloped in the golden light of twilight, crowned by a refined aperitif featuring local wines. Availability upon request.

Bachelorette party in nature

An elegant and original alternative for celebrating with female friends. The package includes a grooming and saddling phase to bond with the horse, a practice session in the arena, and a short scenic excursion. An authentic way to create special memories. Availability upon request.

Summer Camp: night in the stables (ages 11-18)

During the dates in June and July, we offer a total immersion in stable life. Four nights under the stars, daily riding activities, horse management, and get-togethers around the campfire, for unprecedented personal and sporting growth.

1-hour walk with photo shoot

During the walk, a walking photo shoot will capture the spontaneity and emotion of your riding experience. A unique way to have professional and visually striking memories, immersed in the splendid scenery of Sinalunga.

Self-guided hiking with a picnic

The perfect match between adventure and relaxation, which can be combined with our "Vineyard Trekking" (1 hour) or "The Valdichiana Trail" (2 hours) walks. At the end of the excursion, you will be given an exclusive picnic basket to enjoy in total freedom in the most picturesque corners of the farm. Inside you will find a selection of artisanal delicacies, a typical Tuscan appetizer with local ingredients that vary according to the season to always guarantee maximum freshness, and drinks included.

Horseback ride with Tuscan aperitif

Treat yourself to a moment of pure culinary pleasure to combine with our 1 or 2-hour itineraries. Upon returning to the stables, the experience continues with a refined traditional aperitif: a rich platter of farm-to-table Tuscan specialties, accompanied by a selection of local drinks and delicacies. The best way to toast to a wonderful day.
