Welcome to the official blog of Il Poggio Riding Club, the reference point for horseback riding and equestrian tourism in Sinalunga, in the heart of Tuscany. Our mission has always been to combine the technical excellence of the equestrian discipline with respect for the environment and a deep love for horses.

Today we wish to present one of the most exclusive and anticipated initiatives of our season: the tents in a riding stable. An all-encompassing experience designed to let you experience the relationship with the horse and nature from every angle, from sunset to dawn.

The Event Concept: A Full Immersion into Team Life

The “Tent Stay at the Riding Stables” is not simply a stay, but a journey of growth, socialization, and discovery. Designed to offer an authentic immersion into the Tuscan countryside, the event combines daily horseback riding practice with the charm of camping under the stars, within the safety and comfort of our facility.

The Pillars of Experience:

4 nights in a tent: A way to rediscover the rhythms of nature, staying in close contact with the rural environment and the atmosphere of the stable.
Dedicated horseback riding experiences: In-depth educational sessions, stable activities, groundwork horse management, and field lessons designed to elevate the sensitivity and technique of each participant.
Sharing and values: Unique moments of coming together, punctuated by group activities and traditional campfire evenings with barbecues, the perfect opportunity to forge new friendships born from a common passion.

Stables life “From Dusk Till Dawn”: Experiencing the stable during the most evocative hours of the day allows you to deeply understand the habits of the horses, observing their behavior during nighttime relaxation and morning awakening.

Summer session schedule

To guarantee the highest standards of safety, support, and teaching quality, the initiative is organized into two distinct shifts with a limited number of participants:

First session: June 22 – 26

Second session: July 20 – 24

Each shift is planned to offer the ideal scenery of the Sinalunga hills, optimizing the hours of activity in the saddle based on seasonal temperatures.
